How to use apk app installer - There are many places on the internet where you can download apps to your computer directly in the form of apk file. This was purchased as a gift for my daughter to use at college between classes due to its small size. She can use the Wi-Fi at home and at school. She is in love with it. The unit does so much and will continue to change as she installs and deletes as she wants. Came with Android 2.2.1 installed. She just wanted an MP3 and video player and got so much more. There is only a few grips that can be lived with. It does not have any sound adjustment like EQ. The sound is OK but could be better. The speaker is weak but not horible like the Sylvania of which I returned two of them. There is no data about the device features such as screen capabilities but they are excellent. All of her freinds that have played with the device are blown away and want one. At $59.00 this device is great value loaded with capabilities. Wife wants one now as she can't stop playing Angry Bird game. Daughter might have to pry it out of her cold dead fingers to get it back. It has I'm guessing about a 4 gig flash drive. It links to the computer as two drives. The first drive has about 2.6 gigs remaining on the drive but is loaded with lots of good software. I purchased the Amazon 8 gig class 10 microSD card and it works great. If it becomes available again its a great buy.

This tablet was bought as a gift for my daughter and she loves it! It will certainly keep her away from our iphone's.I would say this would be a very good first tablet and to learn the andriod os. The screen is nice and bright and everything is working so far. Being a resistive type screen i was impressed how responsive it was,being if your use to apple touch screens

I purchased this tablet about three months ago and it has been nearly utterly fantastic.Before this I had an ipod touch, which was stolen. Sorry, but I ignored the seller's advice and purchased this product and so far, besides for its somewhat weaker design, lack of an accelerometer, and occassional functionality issues, has been just as good if not better. The Google app market is not as vast as iTunes but does the job, occassionally it won't turn on but a simply push of the reset button proceeds to turn it on without any ill side effects. It heats up fairly fast and makes sounds when it is working, but I haven't noticed any issues with that. The external return feature is faster, but is not quite as nice as the one on the ipod.I was especially happy with the preloaded apps, including- gmail, email, facebook, angry birds, documents-to-go, places, advanced task killer, astro, and many more. Fantastic. Note--to go to usb mode plug the device into your computer and when it reads your device drag down the status bar up top and switch to usb mode. wifi signal is strong and fast even in the basement of my home while the router is upstairs.Problems-micro sd card will not stay in. heats up quickly. make slight ticking noises. power on issues resolved by reset button. for games--lack of accelerometer.A stylus is not needed. I use my fingers and fingertips alot, with more precise touches though I usually find it easier to use the stylus that comes with the device. This also comes with video out cables, a charger, usb cord, carrying case, and some okay earbuds.Downloads apps well and quickly. battery life is less than spectacularHope this helps enjoy and I will be checking back and looking at the 7" elsse tablet.Highly recommend
