I purchased this item on the first of june and have been using it just a little under a month. Id say my ussage is pretty normal no real stress has been put on the product I use it for two things charging my netbook and using my netbook on ac power. The first few weeks it worked normally but for some reason recentley the only way i can get it to charge is to hold the end that meets the netbook in a very specific way. I cant just plug it in and go I have to hold the end or set it against something to keep a steady flow of power. I wouldnt have been upset if I'd been able to use the charger at least for a few months because its price is good but less than four weeks later and its nearly unusable which is unacceptable this isnt the dollar store is it?

After the puppy chewed the Dell adapter, I was afraid to try another brand. Dell is SO expensive, I chose to save the money. Perfect replacement, I'm glad I made the choice.
